Ways We Help
The Focus of Our Efforts
Education
We strive to be available to help our rural communities learn to thrive with the wildlife they encounter. Through reuniting orphans with their wildlife moms, humane exclusions practices, and caring for the animals they find that are in need; we want to work with our communities to allow us all to thrive in our habitat.

Local Empowerment
The Wildlife Rescue is dedicated to helping wildlife in rural areas and promoting humane exclusion practices. We strive to promote co-existence between humans and wildlife and believe that with proper education and resources, people can learn to live harmoniously with their wild neighbors. We offer a variety of community service opportunities for people to get involved and help wildlife in rural areas. Our organization also provides resources to rural rehabbers to help them care for injured and orphaned wildlife. We are committed to making a positive impact on the community and helping wildlife in need.

Community Pet Food Pantry

Firefly’s Wildlife Rescue believes pets are family — and no one should have to choose between feeding themselves and feeding the animals they love.
Our Community Pet Food Pantry provides free pet food to individuals and families who are experiencing financial hardship or temporary crisis. This program is completely anonymous, judgment-free, and designed to help keep pets safe, fed, and in the homes where they belong.
By supporting pet owners before they reach a breaking point, we help prevent unnecessary pet surrenders and reduce strain on local shelters and rescues — while strengthening the bond between people and the animals that bring them comfort, stability, and joy.
Want to help? Donations of unopened pet food are always needed and directly support local families in our community.
